We've moved!!!

Just a note to let everyone know that we have moved the shop to two new locations. The largest location is now at the Spring Hill Antique Mall, 1213 School Street, Spring Hill, TN. The other location is at the Franklin Antique Mall, corner of Margin Street and Second Avenue, Franklin, TN. Stop by and see us, we have all of the great primitives and home decor you've grown to expect from us, oh.....and at lower prices. Yes, we still have all those great candles as well.

Spring Open House is this Saturday!!!

We hope to see all of you at our Spring/Summer Open House that is this Saturday, April 17th, from 10AM - 5PM. We will have many new items as well as more of the items you all have come to expect and enjoy from our store! We also will have some goodies to eat in the back room, so don't pass them up! Spring is in the air!!

We have completely transformed the store for Spring and have many, many, many new items in stock! We have several new one of a kind items as well as new framed art, candles, etc! Come by if you haven't recently and see all that we have done. Also, if you're not on our email list, please email me at thebackdoorspringhill@yahoo.com and let me know that you would like to be included on the email list. I have recently sent out an email that contained a discount coupon, so don't delay! We also have brought into the store a new "line" of furniture, and when I say "line" I'm talking about a new maker and new style. The maker is in Minnesota and she does a great job and GREAT prices. We have hanging cabinets, floor cupboards, and an island from her and they are getting great responses. Look for upcoming announcement of the Spring Open House that will take place mid-March, but don't wait till then for Spring, it's Spring now in the store!

Merry Christmas Sale

We hope each of you had a great Christmas and are looking forward to a great New Year. Effective December 26, all of our Christmas items are now 50% off regular price, while they last. We still have some great things left, so come in and take a look!

New furniture pieces now in store!

New furniture pieces are now in stock. We just returned Friday night from a buying trip, and came back with some GREAT new pieces that are new to our store. The style of the furniture can best be described as distressed/shabby, and all are painted in a great finish. To put it simply, they look great! Since returning, several pieces have sold already, so we are excited about that. We also have new sugar molds, iron sugar mold holders, and water buckets.

Come in a see us before Christmas with your last minute Christmas needs.

New merchandise now in store!

We have just returned from another great trip to purchase items for the store from various craftspeople. We have a many many new items in the store, and many never before carried "one of a kinds" that we were very pleased to find! We have also started carrying mailbox covers and yard flags, all with a primitive country theme. We have a new group of Windsor chairs at VERY reasonable prices, as well as a new farm table and some various design benches. In short, if you haven't been in the store in a while, COME IN and see the new stuff! Also, in the near future, be looking for the smell of fresh homemade bread in the store, we have been working on some and have been successful and hope to start having loaves to offer for sale in the store from time to time. This is made from scratch, good, wholesome homemade bread!

We're getting ready for our CHRISTMAS OPEN HOUSE, which will be on November 7, which is a Saturday. Be looking for your invite in the mail if you're on the mailing list!

Fall is here

Fall is beginning to show up in the trees, and this year promises to be great for fall foliage with all of the rain we have been having lately. We are continuing to have new fall items out in the store, and business has been brisk lately, so keep checking back for new items! While there is still plenty of fall left, we are starting to look forward to the Christmas season. Our Christmas Open House, always alot of fun and good food, will be on Saturday, November 7 from 10-5. Make plans now to attend! Also, the next time you're in the store, be sure to try our new McCall's Toffee...that's right, they are not only making excellent candles, but are now in the candy business. This toffee is addictive, so don't say you weren't warned!
